FAQ

The questions I get asked most.

How does pricing work?
Every project is quoted individually. Pricing depends on session length, location, number of edited deliverables, and licensing needs. Tell me what you're picturing on the contact page and I'll send a written quote within 48 hours.
How far in advance should I book?
Weddings and large events: 3–9 months ahead is typical. Portraits and headshots: 2–4 weeks. Commercial / brand projects: depends on scope. If your date is sooner, ask anyway — I keep some flexibility in the calendar.
How long until I get my photos?
Sneak peeks within 48 hours. Full edited gallery within 2–4 weeks for portraits and events, 4–6 weeks for weddings and large commercial shoots. You'll get a private online gallery to view, download, and share.
Do you travel?
Yes. I cover all of the Lower Mainland with no travel fee. For sessions outside the region or out of province / country, travel costs are added to the quote up front — no hidden line items.
How many photos will I get?
Depends on the session. A typical portrait session delivers 40–80 edited frames. A wedding day delivers 400–800. The number doesn't matter as much as the keepers — I curate aggressively so you're not scrolling through duplicates.
Are the photos retouched?
Yes. Every delivered image is colour-graded and gently retouched. Heavy retouching (composite work, skin work for editorial) is available as an add-on. I won't artificially change how you look — the goal is the best version of the real moment.
Do you provide a contract?
Always. Every project starts with a written agreement covering deliverables, timeline, usage rights, and cancellation. No surprises.
What about usage rights for commercial work?
Standard delivery includes a license for the agreed-upon use (web, social, print run, etc.). Extended licensing — broadcast, billboards, exclusive use — is quoted separately. We'll work this out before the shoot, not after.
Can I see a full gallery before booking?
Yes — I'm happy to share full unwatermarked galleries of similar sessions on request. Just ask in your contact message and tell me what kind of project you're considering.
What languages do you work in?
English, Spanish, and Hebrew. Sessions, contracts, and gallery delivery available in any of the three.
