Luck has a surface area, and it's other people. The more people who know what you're building, the more chances one of them hands you the door you needed. It happens in rooms full of people — so put yourself in them.
A run club, a class, an industry meetup. You see the same faces every week, and the repetition does the work — by week four you have people.
Bring a friend and you talk to your friend all night. Go alone and you talk to the room. Alone is the move.
A business, a club, a project. A shared goal turns strangers into partners faster than a hundred coffees.
And when you get there: walk up and ask what has their attention these days. Listen for what they're building and where they're stuck. Offer something first — an intro, an idea, an hour of your help. The give opens the door.
Then follow up the next day. One message: good meeting you, here's the thing I mentioned. That message is where the partnership starts — the room was just the introduction.
