I asked Claude Code to rank them. Most run a decade or more in the business, and nearly all built a name for themselves first, brokerage second.
I asked Claude Code to find Vancouver's top realtors and tell me what they share. It pulled from Rate My Agent's Vancouver rankings and Rank My Agent's, both ranked by verified client reviews. Checked September 2026.

Every name here carries years of experience, most past the decade mark. Several hold a "top 1%" distinction, a ranking other people gave them, earned through peer or brokerage review. And the best-rated brokerage in the city, Oakwyn Realty, still gets talked about through its individual agents' names first.
If I were becoming a realtor, I'd build my own name before I leaned on the brokerage's. Ask for a review after every closing, including the ones that didn't go smoothly, the only way a rating survives a hundred-plus reviews without collapsing under one bad one. Pick the thing you become known for: a neighbourhood, a price band, a type of buyer. Once volume grows, build a team around yourself so response time holds, the way Pete Shpak's and the MacDougall Group's have.
The customer is making the biggest purchase of their life. They choose based on trust signals: reviews, referral, how fast someone responds, long before they notice which sign is on the lawn.
