Claude Code

AI is a general term for models that can read, reason, write, and take action — the engine behind tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, and the systems powering most of the automation getting shipped today. For a business, AI means turning a manual, repetitive process into one that runs itself.

Claude Code is Anthropic's agentic AI coding tool — and it's the one I use most when building. Unlike a chatbot, it runs directly in the terminal and can autonomously write code, edit files, run commands, browse the web, and build entire working applications from start to finish — no copy-pasting. It's the difference between asking someone to describe a car and having someone actually build you one. Claude Code is one of several AI tools I use under the hood — but what you're really buying isn't the tool, it's the system that runs your business when we're done.

A lot. Real examples from this site: a 17,000-business directory with user accounts and payments (InfoSylvita), an automated job board that scrapes 14 sources daily, lead generation pipelines, competitor intelligence systems, review response bots, client onboarding flows, AI daily briefing emails, and custom dashboards. If it involves data, automation, or a web interface — AI can likely build it.

ChatGPT generates text responses and can write code snippets you then have to copy, paste, debug, and deploy yourself. Claude Code is agentic — it takes actions. It reads your actual files, writes and edits code, runs terminal commands, installs packages, fixes errors, and ships a working product. It's a builder, not a chatbot.

That's me — Alejandro Arce. I've been building with AI since the early days of agentic tools, and Claude Code is the one I use most under the hood. Every project on this site was built with it. I use AI daily to ship real systems for real businesses in Vancouver and remotely worldwide. If you're looking for someone who actually builds with AI — not just someone who's heard of it — I'm your person.

For most small business use cases, yes. Claude Code combined with an experienced consultant can build production-ready tools at a fraction of the cost and time of a full-time developer. For large-scale products with complex requirements, it works best as a force multiplier alongside a dev team. Either way, the economics are dramatically better than traditional development.

Services & Pricing

Everything starts with the AI Audit — $1,500. One focused engagement where I go into your business and come out with a build-ready plan: a map of every task AI can do faster, cheaper, or better; the 3 highest-ROI opportunities ranked by money saved or made; a working proof-of-concept of the #1 opportunity (so you see it run, not just read about it); and a clear build plan with timelines in days, not quarters. If you move forward on a build, the $1,500 is credited toward the project. Custom project pricing and retainer options are quoted from there based on scope.

Yes — the AI Audit comes with a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If you don't find it valuable, you don't pay. Simple as that.

Most prototypes: 48 hours. Simple automations: same session. Complex apps with databases and user accounts: 2–5 days. The average agency takes 30 days just to send a proposal. With AI, we skip all of that and start building immediately.

30 minutes to understand your business. You'll leave with 3–5 specific AI and automation ideas you can act on immediately — whether we end up working together or not. No pitch deck, no upsell pressure. Just useful ideas. Book it here →

Working Together

Not at all. You describe the problem and the result you want — I handle all the building with Claude Code. Most clients are business owners, marketers, and solopreneurs with zero coding background. You just need to know your business.

Local businesses, marketing agencies, real estate agents, fitness studios, e-commerce stores, growing startups, and anyone who has a manual process eating their time. The common thread: they want things built, not just consulted on.

Yes. I'm based in Vancouver, BC but work with clients remotely worldwide. All sessions over video call, all deliverables shared digitally. Available in English, Spanish, and French.

Four steps, no mystery box: 1. AUDIT — we find the money. Not "what can AI do?" but "where are you bleeding time and cash?" I rank the 3 highest-ROI opportunities. 2. SHIP — within days, you get a working version in your hands. Not a mockup. The real thing, running on your real workflow. 3. DEPLOY — we wire it into how you actually operate, train your people, and make sure it survives contact with real customers. 4. COMPOUND — I iterate, layer in the next opportunity, and the value stacks. One win becomes a flywheel. The goal is always the same: a system that runs the business, not a project that runs forever.

Technical

Core stack: Claude Code (Anthropic) for building, Supabase for databases, Resend for email, Vercel or GitHub Pages for hosting, Google Sheets for lightweight data storage. APIs vary by project — Telegram, LinkedIn, Google Maps, Stripe, and more. The right tools for the job, not a rigid stack forced on every client.

Yes. Everything built for you is yours. You get the full source code, deployed to your accounts and infrastructure. No vendor lock-in, no ongoing dependency on me to keep the lights on (unless you want the retainer for ongoing work).

Yes — and this is actually one of the highest-leverage ways we work. We can read your codebase, no matter what it's built in. Here's how I do it: you give me access to the repo (or a zip of the files), I do a structured audit — mapping the architecture, dependencies, where the dead code lives, where the bottlenecks are, what the "one risky file everyone is scared of" is. Then we pick the highest-ROI extension and ship it inside the existing codebase, in your style, matching your conventions. No rewrites. No "let me rebuild it from scratch." Whether it's a Next.js app, a WordPress site, a Python script your old dev left behind, or a Shopify theme — bring it. We pick it up from wherever it is and move it forward.

Yes, when built by someone who knows what they're doing. AI is a tool — the quality of what it produces depends heavily on the expertise of the person directing it. All code is reviewed, tested, and deployed with proper security practices. The live projects on this site (including a paid SaaS product with real users) are proof.
