Gossip is the growth hack

Line illustration: a single speech bubble multiplies into a spreading cluster of smaller bubbles trailing across the frame.

People only care about gossip.

The news is political gossip. Business news is business gossip. Sports news is sports gossip. Then there's the Kardashians, TMZ, and social media itself, all of it rewarding the same thing: a big laugh, a big scare, a big reaction.

So if you want to be an influencer, start gossiping. "Did you see what so-and-so did??" Then add an emotion to it. That's how you get famous.

The playbook

01
Pick the story everyone's already half-watching: don't invent a new one
02
Open with the question: "did you see what they did??"
03
Name the reaction before you explain it: shocked, furious, obsessed
04
Add your take last, after the emotion lands
05
Show up again tomorrow on the next one: the format is the brand

Five moves — same machine, every day

It rewards speed and feeling. Accuracy is optional. The accounts that win get to the emotion first, before anyone fact-checks.

Use it on purpose. Point the same machine at your own industry, your own niche, and you've got a content engine.

Add the emotion. Watch it move.
